Project Associate, Networks Lead

Aurora serves the InnovateEDU team as the Project Associate, Networks Lead for the Educating All Learners Alliance. Prior to this role, she oversaw the DYCD/COMPASS enrichment program that serves over 100 Middle School students at Brooklyn Laboratory Charter School. Before joining the InnovateEDU team, Aurora spent 10 years as a classroom teacher in DOE and Charter school settings across NYC. Aurora is passionate about the role of the Arts in education, and she is an active member in many community theater groups, both as a performer and as a director/choreographer. She holds a B.A. from Long Island University, and an M.A. in Dance Education from NYU.
