Andrea leads efforts to advance the safe and ethical integration of artificial intelligence in education. She plays a key role in supporting fellowships and policy labs that unite AI and education leaders to craft systems and policies that serve the needs of both students and teachers.

Before joining InnovateEDU, Andrea was an English Language Arts teacher, known for embedding digital literacy into day-to-day instruction and sparking critical engagement with technology in the classroom. Driven by her passion for educational technology, she later shifted to a district-wide role focused on implementing digital tools and literacy programs—ensuring educators and learners had the resources and support to thrive.

With a deep understanding of both classroom realities and emerging technologies, Andrea works to shape educational systems that are adaptable and forward-thinking.
