Policy Intern

Harshvardhan Upadhyaya is a Policy Intern at InnovateEDU, where he conducts policy research and analysis of federal and state legislation while supporting cross-sector coalitions focused on education research, workforce readiness, and responsible AI in education. He is a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his Master's in Educational Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship.

Harshvardhan previously led product initiatives and has hands-on experience in developing AI-powered digital humans for Higher Ed applications. He also supports over 900 educators through the Mark Cuban Foundation in building AI agency and helping education leaders with systems thinking approaches to AI policy. Harshvardhan is passionate about creating meaningful impact at the intersection of education policy and technological innovation for learners everywhere.
