Lauren Wilson
Manager, Special Projects
Lauren Wilson is the Manager of Special Projects at InnovateEDU.
With roots as a classroom teacher and professional experience spanning policy, philanthropy, and nonprofit leadership, Lauren brings a systems-level perspective grounded in practice. She began her career as a second- and third-grade teacher in Denver Public Schools and later moved to Washington, D.C., to support state education agencies at the Council of Chief State School Officers. Most recently, at XQ Institute, Lauren led strategic initiatives supporting school and system leaders in the design and implementation of transformational change at the high school level.
Lauren holds a Master’s in Elementary Education from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. She lives in Lake Tahoe with her family.
